I bought this pedometer because I liked the aspect of being able to put it in my pocket during the day. However, I have found that it is incredibly sensitive. I teach at the college level and do a lot of writing on the blackboard. I know I don't pace around the room that much, but apparently just moving my arm up and down while writing is enough to make this thing think I am taking many steps.
