Having tried several others, I've settled into this as the definitive pedometer. Just plunk it into your pocket and it does all it's touted to do. When my wife and I both use our units and walk together, the accuracy and reproducability of our tandem readings are astonishing. I've had mine more than a year and, aside from two battery changes and a couple of daylight/std time cycles, it's required no maintenance.
