I found the Omron HJ-112 Digital Premium Pedometer to be a very accurate and rugged devise. Its measurements are extremely accurate and I have dropped the devise on several occasions and been very pleased to see it is unharmed and working well after I picked it up. It is very light and unobtrusive and I hardly know that I am wearing it. It is a great little device to measure how active I am during the day when not "officially" exercising.
