After a week I can praise this for it's reliability. It does what it says it does, including counting steps when carried in a pocket. I have checked by mentally counting steps and it's usually within a couple of steps of being right. My stride seems to change a lot when I walk so knowing it's counting close to what I'm counting is important. I love the memory feature and the aerobic step feature. This is the best pedometer I've used and I've used 3 other brands. Another really nice feature is the strap clip which is added safety against dropping. And to reset it you have to push into a little hole on the back so no more accidentally resetting it; in fact it resets itself after 24 hours.
