Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer Order Now

I researched pedometers for a while before deciding to get this one and have not been disappointed. It claims to track steps to +-5% accuracy and this seems to hold true. My favorite feature of this model is that not only does it track total steps, it also tracks aerobic steps (defined as continuous movement for 10 minutes or longer) and the time spent doing aerobic steps which makes it so easy to keep track of workouts.

My only quibble about it is that the directions for calculating stride length were kind of crummy, and the trouble-shooting section of the manual is pretty useless. The mileage estimate it gives me (based on my length of stride) is lower than the actual distance I know from driving the route, but to change my stride length to get a more accurate estimate means resetting the whole device, which would lose all the saved data. Right now I'm living with the discrepancy since resetting is a pain.

Overall, though a great product that is very motivating. I have definitely increased my activity level since I started using it and have lost so far close to ten pounds. Get more detail about Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer.
