The Omron HJ112 pedometer is the best. I have tried other pedometers and have had little luck. The others do not work well when used on carpeting and often get stuck. With the Omron, this never happens. I love the history feature so you can go back seven days and track your progress. I wear my Omron every day and follow the 10,000 steps per day goal faithfully. The only disadvantage to the Omron is that the clip often pops off of your waistband. I made a make-shift safety chain with a small clip to help prevent loss (I lost my first one).
