I've unfortunately gone through a number of pedometers - lost one on a plane, another fell off in a parking lot, and a third one just fell apart. This Omron is fantastic - accurate count, easy to use, and the tether is great - no more having to worry about losing it because the clip didn't work. I'll be putting it to the test in a couple weeks but expect fantastic results based on the testing around the house and neighorhood.
