After trying to use two other pedometers which my wife and I found to be completely variable when comparing identical walks we purchased two Omron HJ112 pedometers and to our delight they proved to be just what we wanted. On our daily 30 min.,walk we often find that our number of steps are virtually the same. Other features we particularly like are the ability to hang the unit in ones pocket instead of clipping it to the belt and also to measure the aerobic steps separately from total steps. We both find these units to be reliable and they give us confidence that our daily exercise level is on target.
