I've been walking daily for some time now. I was surprised by how inaccurate my old pedometer was. I'd get it calibrated to .5 mile (I sometimes walk a known .5 mile track) and it would measure .38 the next lap. Very frustrating. On the bright side, after checking the mileage on my various routes, I discovered I had been walking further than I thought. So I set out to find an accurate pedometer and the reviews on this Omron HJ112 led me to select it. I had it calibrated by my 3rd .5 mile lap and it has been dead on ever since. I counted 100 actual steps and it measured as 96 steps. There were some complaints about it falling off or being lost. I've been using it over a week and haven't had it fall out of the holder yet. It came with a strap that has a clip on it, I've been using the clip in addition to the holder in case it would happen to fall out. Some complined it was big.
