So far the Omron pedometer has performed as advertised. I have used it on the treadmill and it records both aerobic steps and normal steps accurately. It works by either clipping to your belt or placing it in a pocket. The only negative is that to read it, you have to unclip it from your waist, or learn to read it upside down. It is well made and quite attractive. The self-reset at midnight is a nice feature. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
