This is a great pedometer. I am techno challenged & with the help of the manual I had no problem programing this pedometer. I love that it gives me the distance I have walked & the calories I have burned. I have walked with this in my purse & my pocket & it still kept track of my steps. I did follow the suggestion of a fellow reviewer & used the alligator clip as a back up to keep the pedometer attached. It has saved me from dropping it more than once.
