I have gone through a number of pedometers, some comparably priced, and nothing is as good as this one. I don't really check all the options every day, but I do use it everyday to keep track of total steps and total aerobic steps. It's nice that you can go back and check your totals for the week. It has held up well over several months, and that is due in part, I'm sure, to the safety clip that keeps it from falling off. I have used it in a pocket as well as clipped to my waist and it seems to work just as well that way. I haven't tried putting it in my purse, so can't comment on whether that works or not.
