Buying Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer

I've owned about 4 pedometers. This is a good one but seems to be a bit large for me. I prefer the smaller unit made by Omron that has a cover over it.

It waits until you've been in motion for 4 seconds before it counts your regular steps so it is probably more accurate for "walking" than others. It also counts aerobic steps after you've been in consistent motion for about 10 minutes or so with allowance for a 1 minute rest within. Calculates miles and calories burned - a plus. The HJ-112 has a safety cord that prevents loosing it which is good since the price is a bit more than other pedometers.

If you're looking for a good unit that is accurate with extras, this is great. Also will work in your pocket or attached to a purse although I haven't tried that. Get more detail about Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer.
