I just started walking to try to lose some weight, and based on reviews here, bought this pedometer. This is a wonderful tool. The seven day memory is great, as it challenges you to do better than the last day. I also like the fact that it shows miles walked. As a test of accuracy, I used it with my GPS. The GPS showed 3.05 miles, while the Omron showed 3.15. So it is quite accurate.
