I tried several other pedometers and found them to be very inaccurate on the high side - registering steps when I sat down, or was on a bouncy road sitting in the car. One even registered 10 steps just getting it clipped to my belt!
The Omron 112, however, is very accurate and I am really happy with it. It can even tell the difference between regular (around the office) walking and aerobic walking (it records a total of all steps and a separate aerobic total.)
