I am not a hard core exerciser, but using this pedometer helps me keep up a consistent number of steps during the day. I make sure I keep finish the day on the treadmill if I'm short a few. It is easy to set and read. As for accuracy it's hard to tell. I think my treadmill shows a little longer distance, but it's under perfect conditions.
